Bill Hodges from Providence Health and Services accepts the award for Outstanding Partner for Environmental Stewardship from Linda Barrett and Steve Breinig from DataSpan.

Renton, WA. – Providence Health & Services, was recognized as the winner of the Outstanding Partner for Environmental Stewardship Award during Q2 of the 2012 calendar year. Providence Health & Services, a not-for-profit organization which includes hospitals, health plans, and clinics has on-site data center infrastructure operated by Bill Hodges, Program Director. Partnered with DataSpan’s solutions, Bill leverages both ecofriendly and cost effective data center designs to optimize power, cooling, energy efficiency and preserve natural resources surrounding the facility site. “As the entire data storage industry works to continually reduce our carbon footprint, Providence Health & Services is an exceptional example that we should all strive to achieve.
